iTech Service Plans

The Finer Points:
• $44.00 inc. GST per workstation per month and $77.00 inc. GST per Server per month, billed quarterly and payable in advance..
• For each workstation covered in the service plan, 2 Service Blocks per month will be allocated for remote and onsite support.
• For each Server covered in the service plan, 4 Service Blocks per month will be allocated for remote and onsite support.
• A support block is valued at 15 minutes of support.
• Support Blocks can be used on any machine in any combination.
• Unused Support Blocks do not carry over to the next month.
• If further support is required once your monthly quota has been exhausted, you will be entitled to reduced rates and call out fees.
• A minimum of 5 workstations must be included in your iTech Service Plan.
• The monthly workstation preventative maintenance does not incur any Support Blocks.
Support Block Usage:
• Any support request initiated will use 1 Support Block.
• If the time to resolution exceeds 15 minutes a subsequent Support Block will be used and so on.
• If an onsite visit is necessary or requested, 2 Support Block will be forfeited as a call out fee.
Example of the iTech Service Plan in action:
Company XYZ has 10 machines and a server covered under their maintenance plan.
They are allocated 24 Service Blocks per month under their iTech Service Plan entitling them to up to 6 hours of IT support a month, either remotely or onsite.
On one occasion, a call is made to iTech requesting remote assistance to resolve an issue. iTech is able to resolve the issue remotely in 25 minutes. As a result 2 Service Block has been used for this incident.
On another occasion, a request has been made for iTech to attend onsite and install some new software. All up the installation took 60 minutes. As a result 2 Service Blocks were deducted for the call out, and a further 4 used for the software installation. A total of 6 Service Blocks were used on this occasion.
Meanwhile every fortnight, the server has been given a health check and remotely monitored for any issues. And preventative maintenance has been performed on all of the workstations at the end of each month.
